Purple 5k
Taking place on April 28 @ 9am-12pm
The Purple 5K has returned! This vibrant event was launched to inspire our community to take a stand and get active in the battle against homelessness, poverty, and addiction right here in our city. The fun-filled run/walk kicks off and wraps up downtown under Skypoint, guiding participants through Billings' hospital corridor and the scenic north elevation neighborhoods.
Rock Creek Coffee Roasters will be closed during this event.
4th Annual Downtown Mini Golf Tournament
Taking place on June 15th 10am-4pm
Join the 4th annual downtown Mini Golf Tournament, a fun event for families and friend groups alike, organized by Downtown Billings with support from sponsors like Hooligans Sports Bar and Montana Brewing Co. This event features 9 or 18 holes across two unique downtown courses, with plenty of giveaways and prizes.
Participants can bring their putters or use those provided, choose from two tee times (10:30am or 12:30pm), and enjoy playing in teams of up to 6. Check-in includes waiver signing, and golfers receive a ball and scorecard, to be returned at Hooligan’s Sports Bar hole after playing.
Rock Creek Coffee Roasters will be open until 2pm during the event.
33rd Billings Strawberry Festival
Taking place on July 13th 19am-4pm
The annual Strawberry Festival, presented by Downtown Billings and Visit Billings, is the city's largest vendor street festival and a beloved community tradition. Held in the heart of downtown Billings, this event marks the start of the summer season with over 100 merchants offering a diverse array of arts, crafts, food-truck delights, and live entertainment. Taking place under Skypoint at 2nd Ave N. and N. Broadway, the festival attracts visitors from across the northwest region, providing fun activities for all ages.
