Montana Coffee Shop Offers Special Drinks to Help National Alliance on Mental Illness
Stop by and try The New Zealander or the Honey Suckle in September
This month, stop by your Montana coffee shop here at Rock Creek and enjoy some specialty drinks while helping others in the community. A portion of your purchase will go towards helping the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI), www.namibillings.org.
Their mission is “to provide education, support and advocacy for individuals and families affected by mental illness.”
Through free classes, support groups and education, they help persons living with mental illness and their families or loved ones. And since many of the people with mental illness often receive a lack of empathy due to negative stereotypes, this organization often struggles to obtain support.
Unique Montana Coffee Drinks to Try!
You can help those in need in your local community. Simply purchase one of our delicious, specialty coffee drinks this month. These include:
• The New Zealander
A former barista left for New Zealand, and this was her signature drink.
• Honey Suckle
A local favorite, you’ll love this unique combination of vanilla and honey.
It’s the perfect treat to share with a friend on a sunny, September day.
We’ll donate a percentage of your purchase of the coffee drinks above to NAMI Billings.
This is an affiliate of NAMI that has over 1200 state and local affiliates nationwide.
Their biggest fundraiser, NAMIWalks is held in Helena on September 22nd and welcomes everyone to participate.
