Pumpkins can be decorated using paint, stickers, or other craft materials, but no scary or violent themes are allowed. Once submitted, all entries are put on display at the Downtown Billings office for the community to admire and vote for their favorites. How to Enter the Pumpkin Contest

For those looking to join in on the fun, entering the pumpkin contest is easy. Just bring your decorated pumpkin to the Downtown Billings Association (DBA) Office between October 15 and October 17. Each design can feature between one and three pumpkins, and all submissions need to be in good taste since families with young children will be viewing them.

Your pumpkin will be on display for the community to see from October 21 through October 30, with voting taking place online. After Halloween, you can come pick up your pumpkin, or it will be discarded after November 5th. The grand prize winner is announced on Halloween day, making it a fun and creative lead-up to the big event!
