Howdy!

It’s Monday morning, and you and your customers want a great cup of coffee to get going and start the workweek off on a positive note.

Brazil Porta Rossa is just what you’re looking for!

A breakfast favorite, this coffee adds depth and sweetness to your morning routine in a smooth and mild roast.

The rich aroma awakens your senses.

Then, the first sip sends a combination of roasted nuts, milk chocolate and honey across your palette. It’s sweet, but not overpowering.

A heavy body and mild acidity accompany the delicious taste for comfort in a cup!

And as an espresso, you’ll enjoy dark chocolate and nougat that’s heavy and syrupy but has a very soft acidity, or sharp, bright and pleasant aftertaste. This means it’s an ideal pairing with fatty foods, such as pastries and muffins.

Graded as SSFC, these coffee beans grow at 800-900 meters above sea level in the region of Cerrado in Brazil. This is “the biologically richest savanna in the world with about 10,000 plant species and 10 endemic bird species,” according to the Word Wide Fund For Nature.

Today, being able to trace coffee back to it’s original origin helps to provide fair prices, more eco-friendly processes, improved social initiatives, and more. That’s why The Cerrado Coffee Growers Federation and others have protected coffee from Cerrado with a “Designation of Origin” status. The designation proves the coffee was grown and harvested in this specific region of the world

In Cerrado, farmers from mid-to-large size estates carefully pick and sort the coffee cherries at the peak of ripeness, by hand or machine. For naturally-processed coffee like the Brazil Porta Rossa, the full cherries dry with the pectin layer. This way, the beans absorb the sugar. This provides the sweetness you taste in the final cup.

Harvested between May and August, Brazil Porta Rossa is available year-round. Genetic varieties include Acaia, Bourbon, Mundo Novo, Catuaí, Catucaí, Catigua, Topazio, and others.

Isn’t it time you started your day with a rich aroma and delicious coffee experience?
